TERMS AND CONDITIONS – VIP Liquors (Pty) Ltd – Crazy Tropez  cooler giveaway 

 

1. Important Notice

 

1.1. These terms and conditions contain certain clauses which  

(i) may limit the risk or liability of the promoters or a third party,  

(ii) may create risk or liability for you; and/or  

(iii) may compel you to indemnify VIP Liquors (Pty) Ltd or a third party; and/or (iv) may be an acknowledgment of any fact by you. 

 

1.2. You acknowledge that by submitting your entry to the promotion, you have been given an 

appropriate opportunity to first read and understand these terms and conditions before entering the promotion and you agree to them. 

 

1.3. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to, or must be understood to unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations created for either the entrant or the promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (“the CPA”). 

This promotion is organized by VIP Liquors (Pty) Ltd (registration number:  2010/161935/23 and Mandarin (collectively “the promoters”). 

2. The promotion commences on01 August 2026to 31 October 2026. The last date for entries 31 October 2026 
3. You will only be eligible toparticipatein this promotion if: 

3.1.You are a natural person over the age of 18 at the date of entry. You will be required to submit valid identification documentation in order to verify your age if you win; 

3.2.You are a South African resident; 

3.3.You are not a director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant VIP Liquors (Pty) Ltd  or participating promoters above, or any marketing service provider in respect of the promotion or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the promoter/s or suppliers of goods or services in connection with this promotion, or the spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of such a person; 

3.4.It is not unlawful to supply the prize to you in terms of any legislation or public regulation and 

the promoters reserve the right to require proof that it will not be unlawful to supply the prize 

to you; 

3.5.You have not in the previous 3 (three) months from the entry date of this promotion accepted 

and been awarded a prize from a promotion run by the Promoters. 

 

4. Toparticipatein this promotion and stand a chance to win: 

4.1.1. Purchase one bottle or more of Crazy Tropez at a Tops @ Spar store within South Africa; and 

4.1.2. Scan the QR code, complete the form and upload proof of purchase and contact information to enter the competition. Or 

41.3 Write your contact details on the till slips and submit it in the competition box 

 

 

5. The Prize

5.1.1. Grand prize valued at R10 000, includes a wine cooler fridge and two cases of Crazy Tropez.  

 

6. Grand Prize Winner Selection:

6.1.1. All customers who submit a valid entry during the promotional period will receive an entry 

into the grand prize draw. 

6.1.2. The Grand Prize draw will be conducted after the end of the promotional period. 

6.1.3. The promoters will call the finalist on the cell phone number supplied on the entry 

submitted. The finalist will be called once a day for 3 (three) days and if the promoters are 

not able to reach the finalist during this time, the promoters reserve the right to disqualify 

the finalist and randomly select a replacement winner from the entries. In such 

circumstances, the replacement winner will be contacted telephonically. If the replacement 

winner cannot be contacted within the same time constraints, the prize will be forfeited 

back to the promoters and no further winners shall be selected. 

6.1.4. The winner who has been successfully contacted will need to be verified and provide the 

promoters with a certified copy of their South African ID/or Passport, bank certified proof of 

bank account holder and complete a finalist form. Blurred or obscured copies will result in 

disqualification. The requested documents need to be sent within 48 (forty-eight four) hours 

if not done the winner will be disqualified and the promoters will move onto the next 

possible finalist. 

6.1.5. In circumstances, where a runner up is selected, and the promotors are unable to reach or successfully verify the runner up, the prize will be forfeited back to the promoters and no 

further winners shall be selected. 

6.1.6. A successful prize claim will be subject to the winner being successfully verified. Verification includes, but is not limited to, checks being undertaken to ensure that the winner is not an employee of any of the promoters. 

6.1.7. Your entry will be withdrawn if the products detailed in sections 5.1 above 

purchased in connection with the promotion is returned by you. 

6.1.8. Any costs or expenses incurred in respect of items not specifically included in the prize are for the winner’s own account. VIP Liquors 24/7 cc and its associates, if applicable, will 

not be responsible for any other expenses which the winner may incur as a result of their 

acceptance of the prize, whether foreseen or not. 

6.1.9. The prize is not transferable and may not be deferred, changed or exchanged for cash or any other item. VIP Liquors 24/7 cc  reserves the right to alter the prize to a prize of comparable commercial value. 

6.1.10. The winner may be required to take part in publicity and participation in the promotion is 

conditional on you agreeing to take part in such publicity. The winner will not be entitled to 

any remuneration for taking part in such publicity. All and any materials, including publicity 

materials, are the sole property of VIP Liquors (Pty) Ltd 

6.1.11. To the extent that any taxes, duties, levies or other charges may be levied on a prize by the government or any other competent government or regulatory body, the winner will be 

liable therefore, and VIP Liquors 24/7 cc will not increase the value of the prize to compensate for such charges. 

6.1.12. Should you win the prize, you undertake to expeditiously do all things necessary to enable the promoters to comply with their obligations under the CPA. 

6.1.13. VIP Liquors (Pty) Ltd  reserves the right to vary, postpone, suspend, or cancel the 

promotion and any prize (if it has not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, 

without notice at any time, for any reason which VIP Liquors 24/7 deems necessary. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of the promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the promoters, their advertising agencies, advisors, suppliers and nominated agents. 

6.1.14. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the auditors / VIP Liquors 24/7 cc and its 

agencies is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered. 

6.1.15. If the winner fails to comply with any of these rules or the terms of acceptance of the prize, or if they refuse to sign the VIP Liquors (Pty) Ltd winner declaration or the VIP Liquors (Pty) Ltd winner prize acceptance form, this will be construed as a rejection of the prize and then, without prejudice to any other remedy which VIP Liquors (Pty) Ltd and its associates may have, the winner will be automatically disqualified and will forfeit the Prize. 

 

7. The laws of South Africa govern these terms and conditions and participants agree to be subject to the exclusivejurisdictionof the South African courts.
